- Thank you for visiting my blog. I am a self representing lampwork bead artist. I have always had a love of art and creating beautiful items. In September of 2004 a friend of mine showed me the basics of creating lampwork beads. I have been hooked from day one. I started with a hothead torch and about 8 rods of glass donated by my friend. Today I work on a National SM-7 torch with an oxygen concentrator and propane tank. I have been married for 21 years, have 2 wonderful sons, 1 dog and 1 cat. I currently work full-time outside the home but hope to one day have the financial freedom to create full-time. Until that day, I will continue to create beautiful lampwork beads every spare minute I have.
